Hatha - Vinyasa Fusion Yoga Class
Fusion Yoga at Yoga Lab Hanoi is developed based on Vinyasa Yoga which is currently popular in the world.
Classes focuses on movement, increasing the strength and flexibility of each muscle group in the body through flow (sequences) of movements. Besides traditional yoga movements, class is often combined with Functional Movement and Pilates exercises to increase range of motion and benefits to the students.
Class duration:
- 70%: asana flow, stretching and strengthening exercises. Focus on specific muscle group and how to use it correctly.
- 20%: theory and technique, how to enter - hold - and exit a pose (asana). How to use breath and muscle groups in postures.
- 10%: deep relaxation and breathing exercises (pranayama)
Yin Yoga & Yoga Therapy
Yin yoga is often known as a gentle, relaxing way to practice yoga, that does not involve complex movements. Yin yoga helps practitioners proactively massage the muscles from the inside out. You slowly learn to consciously relax the body and ease the mind while holding and going deeper into one posture.
Yin Yoga is suitable for all ages and genders, because of its stability, gentleness, slowness and effectiveness. For golden age people, it helps restore and improve flexibility. For young people, it helps relax and restore energy after works.
4-week Beginner Yoga (Weekdays)
The course is designed for people who are new to yoga, want to take community classes but are not confident to participate. Or those who don't have time to go to class, want to practice at home and need support in the beginning to understand basic sequence and alignments.
Duration: 60 minutes/session x 2 sessions/week. Study continuously for 4 weeks.
Content:

Week 1: Basic yoga flow, preparation for a traditional yoga session. Get familiar with basic Yoga postures and sequences, bring breath into each movement.

Week 2: Understand the 2 Sun Salutation A & B. Experience different yoga styles: Yin Yoga, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.

Week 3: Apply basic movements to create sequences. Sequences: Core, standing balance, hip opening and back bend.

Week 4: Complete a full 60 minutes session.

Yoga Nidra & Meditation
Yoga Nidra takes us to a state of deep relaxation, on the verge of sleep, where our senses, intellect and mind can completely let go and rest. In this dreamless sleep, we escape the concepts of time, space and reason. When this happens, brain activity decreases and the body enters a healing state, eliminating toxins at the cellular level, refreshing the mind and removing emotional burdens from the subconscious.
Yoga Nidra and Meditation classes will be taught weekly at Yen Ninh studio, subjected to change. Each class is 60 minutes.
Sound Bath & Breathwork
Tibetan Singing bowls are one of the most powerful instruments for healing. It is also used for deep relaxation and muscle regeneration, relieving joint, muscle and shoulder pain, improving circulation, releasing tension or congestion, clearing energy flow, eliminates toxins from the body.
We invite you to join the weekly/monthly Tibetan Singing Bowls meditation sessions combined with breathwork held at Yoga Lab Hanoi. Each session is between 60 - 75 minutes.
